After the wedding...

Our good friend Kelly Thacker, who runs a life-coaching business in Edinburgh, has written a great article on her blog on post-wedding blues – that ‘I have so much spare time on my hands, what the heck am I going to do with it’ feeling that most newlyweds experience!

Many of our couples throw themselves into a new project after their wedding – buying and renovating a house, changing career or starting their own business. When you add up the number of hours you have spent planning your wedding you start to see why it’s important to have something to fill the gap and look forward to afterwards.

We were very fortunate in that our business was still young when we got married, and we were able to put all our energy into making it a success. Having a legitimate excuse to still read Scottish Wedding Directory and Real Life Weddings – and get to check out all the gorgeous new dresses – was fantastic too!
