We are a husband and wife duo based in Fife, near Edinburgh who have been photographing - and are now also filming! - weddings and elopements together for over 15 years!

We keep things very natural and relaxed, working mostly in a creative documentary style and shooting candidly. Our couples tell us they want all the important photos (including a few group shots to keep the family happy!), without having to spend too long away from their guests and the party.

Having said that, we’re always happy to sneak folks away to create some photo magic, especially when the light is amazing, and they need a little (almost) alone time away from it all. Our weddings range from teeny elopements for two right through to huge four day celebrations, and we tend to find that bespoke pricing rather than fixed packages works best for our couples.

Do you shoot film or digital?

Digital for weddings – we’re Nikon/Sony users.

How many weddings do you shoot?

We want to deliver our absolute best work from each wedding we photograph, and we therefore limit the number of bookings we take to 25 a year, in order to keep the standard of our photography and customer service consistently high. It also means we get some weekends off too. Burn out is very real in this industry and we’d hate to not love what we do anymore or deliver our very best each time. It’s a very important day after all!

Do you offer films?

Our creative little films are available for intimate weddings and elopements. If you’re looking for the full works, we can recommend some incredible filmmakers.

How long will it take for us to get our photos after the wedding?

Your full set of images (including your slideshow and gallery) will be ready within 4-6 weeks. A whole lotta love goes into these!

Do we need to feed you?

If you’d like us to stick around while you eat dinner, then a hot meal would be appreciated (this is usually served to us while you enjoy your meal). Otherwise, we can pop out to get our own food.

Will you personally be shooting the wedding?

Yes, unless in the event of major illness/other emergency (fortunately, this hasn’t happened yet in our 12+ years of photographing weddings but we have lovely, talented folks on our speed dial, just in case!).

How do we book?

To secure the date a deposit is required (this can be paid online, and our booking form can also be completed and signed online). And the remaining balance is due 8 weeks before the wedding.

How many photos will we get? Are they edited? If so, are they colour corrected or completely retouched?

The final number varies as each wedding is different, but you can expect 500+ photos from full day, two photographer coverage and they will be edited in our signature style (as shown on our website).

Do we have to decide now if we want an album?

Bespoke artbook albums are available to order now or after the wedding – just ask if you’d like more details.

Can we have the digital rights to our photos?

Yes, you will receive printing rights and the licence to reproduce the images for personal, non commercial use. You can share them on social media, make your own prints, books etc.

Will you submit our wedding images to be published in magazines or online?

Only with your permission!

Do we need to meet before we book?

We’d love to get together for coffee or beer, but as many of our couples live overseas it isn’t always possible, in which case Skype tends to be the next best thing!
