Clare & Ben's wedding at Crichton Collegiate Church & Oxenfoord Castle

After all these years photographing weddings here in Scotland, we’re still getting to explore new (to us!) places and venues – which makes us very happy! Situated amidst scenic rolling hills just outside Edinburgh, Crichton Church is one of Scotland’s oldest collegiate churches at more than 500 years old. Clare & Ben became husband and wife in this incredibly picturesque setting, and then it was on to Oxenfoord Castle for a celebration that was full of love and laughter.

Despite the weather being pretty wintry in the days before (think horizontal sleet and gales!), the big day was a crisp, autumnal day which allowed us to explore the grounds with the newlyweds. Kudos to Clare & Ben for braving the goosebumps for these photos!

It was a wonderful day to be part of! And getting to catch up with their good friends, Victoria & Gavin, whose wedding we photographed back in 2011, was a bonus too!
