We’d love to know more about your story – how you met, what made you decide to spend the rest of your lives together, and how you’re going to celebrate doing exactly that! But first you probably want to know a little more about us, before you consider booking us to capture your day.

We are a husband and wife duo and are based in Fife, near Edinburgh. We photograph and film weddings and elopements for the bold of heart. And we do it while bringing all the good bants, to make it feel less like a camera is pointing at you. Because we get that this can be kinda scary!

Working in a creative, documentary style, we will capture you at your absolute, natural best. Whether it’s popping you in the most amazing light and then letting you be your awesome self, getting the two of you to take a little walk together during the golden hour (we LOVE this bit of the day!), or catching you and your friends rocking out on the dancefloor.

So that’s what we do! But how did our story begin, you might be wondering…

Well, we met and fell in love on the slopes of Whistler, British Columbia. Jay photographed music festivals and played in a punk band, while I had left my job as a journalist to chase winter around the world. We began photographing weddings when we were planning our own, and 15 years on still love the excitement and anticipation as we pack up our gear and set off for each one!

We photograph weddings, elopements and love stories all across Scotland. Our couples are adventurous souls who like to go off the beaten track, they love getting the wind in their hair and mud on their boots along the way.

From mystical stone circles to weddings on the Harry Potter steam train, destination weddings on white sand beaches, traditional Celtic handfastings to Persian weddings, we’ve been part of so many incredible celebrations over the years! We love to explore new places and meet folks from all over the world. And we thrive on capturing all the atmosphere, energy and emotion of the day.

When we’re not behind the camera, we can usually be found making plans for our next road trip (our daughter loves a midnight troll hunt!). We also love chasing our favourite rock bands around Europe, drinking rum and eating street food.
