Jenny & Paul's wedding at Prestonfield House - Edinburgh wedding photography

To say we had been looking forward to Jenny & Paul’s wedding is an understatement. We love everything about Prestonfield – the drama, the opulence, the ‘it’s my party and I’ll have stripes with a leopard print carpet if I want to‘ vibe. And after hearing all the details of their glamorous big day we just couldn’t wait!

We have so many favourite images from Friday it was really hard narrowing them down for this blog post. But after several edits, here’s our final selection…

The day began in the owner’s suite, where Jenny and her girls were getting glammed up and ready to party.

Jenny looked so beautiful… We couldn’t resist using this birdcage for a photo of the rings!

After a champagne breakfast, the boys were ready to go…and, by the way, how great does Paul look?

Jenny & Paul live in the Middle East and are proof that you can plan the perfect wedding via Google. Every element of the day – from the sweet pea bouquets to the music – was simply perfect.

The ceremony took place in the Garden Room, which has possibly the best wallpaper in Edinburgh.

We’ve said it before but we’ll say it again…stunning bride! The ceremony was beautiful, and Jenny and Paul couldn’t take their eyes off each other. After the ceremony we went exploring…we heart Prestonfield! The wedding breakfast took place in Prestonfield’s acclaimed restaurant Rhubarb, which looked incredible.  Meanwhile, last minute checks of the speeches were being made. In keeping with the theatrical nature of the venue, best man Stephen’s speech even had stage directions!   Magician Paul Nardini kept the guests entertained… And we couldn’t resist heading outdoors for some atmospheric photos…  Mr & Mrs Carthy rock!
